Kirsten Boshoff

The Super Power

The friendly face (and voice!) behind the scenes, our Practice Manager is the glue that keeps everything running smoothly at

Little Leaf Paeds.

From juggling bookings to keeping billing on track and supporting our team, she somehow makes it all look effortless.

If you’ve ever called or visited, chances are you’ve already experienced her kindness. She has a special way of making every parent feel heard, supported, and completely at ease—no matter how busy the day gets.

Loved by our team and families alike, she brings warmth, patience, and a little bit of magic to everything she does.

Simply put, she’s the heart of our practice

Dr Rebecca Simpson

Owner, Specialist Paediatrician , and Fellow in Paediatric Cardiology

I can’t wait to meet you and your precious family. Until then, here’s a little about me.

I’ve always known I wanted to work with children—their resilience, honesty, and joy inspire me daily. I graduated from Wits University in 2012 and completed my paediatric training at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital and Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, earning my Master of Medicine and Fellowship in Paediatrics in 2020.

As a mother myself, I understand the real joys and challenges of raising little ones. This helps me approach each family with empathy, tailoring care that feels both practical and reassuring.

My approach is gentle and child-centred, ensuring children feel safe and comfortable, while building open, trusting relationships with parents.

I’m currently taking a little time to grow and deepen my knowledge in Paediatric Cardiology at Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital, and I look forward to returning to care for your little ones soon. 🌿
